We spoke about Dr. Kauntze's minute of the 25th May. I understand that the further regrettable delay in getting Dr. Selwyn-Clarke's Report printed has been due to the difficulty locating the reports referred to in this minute. Dr. Kauntze very kindly sent over a copy of the report by Dr. MacLeod; I gather that there is no registered copy. The only copy of the report by Dr. Dean Smith was apparently with Dr. Selwyn-Clarke himself. He has now sent it to me and fully agrees with the suggestion that these two reports should be added as appendices to his own. I have therefore placed them behind the Report opposite and numbered them Appendix 2 and Appendix 3.

Would you kindly say whether you agree that these papers should now be sent to the printer for issue as a Colonial Office Paper not to be published by the Stationery Ofrice for sale, to the
